Wiebke Wessels wins Best Poster

The ESLHO symposium Poster Prize is rewarded every year at the ESLHO Symposium. At this 13th ESLHO Symposium, which took place in Lisbon Portugal, all poster presenters were asked to pitch their work in a short Blitz presentation to the public. This resulted in a powerful, energizing session in which the - mostly young - scientists did an excellent job in getting attention for their poster. During lunch, the public could visit the posters for more in-depth explanation and discussion. After that the visitors were asked to rate the posters by rewarding their top-three. The prize for Best Poster was for Wiebke Wessels from Kiel with her poster on Preleukemic clonal haematopoiesis in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Alice Darbyshire from Birmingham and Javier Morán-Plata from Salamanca came in second and third, respectively.
